The University seeks to recruit an applicant with the requisite qualifications, skills, and experience for the following post: HEAD WAITER/WAITRESS (1 POST), Catering Services Unit Department. Qualifications Required

Applicants must have 5 ‘O’ level passes including English Language and Mathematics, Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management or related field OR at least 5 years relevant experience in diverse food service environments. A Higher National Diploma in a related field will be an added advantage.

Host guest, resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction. Monitor supplies, utensils, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities will include the following: Supervise and manage wait staff, ensuring excellent customer service Host guest, resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction Take orders, manage tables and coordinate food delivery Familiarize staff with menu items Assign tables, manage seating, and maintain a clean environment Liaise with kitchen staff and management Monitor supplies, utensils, and equipment Train new staff members and conduct ongoing training.
