Qualifications Required
A MSc degree in Computer Science with 1 year experience or a BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent with 4 years post qualification experience. The incumbent will be responsible to the User Support and Training Manager.
Excellent working knowledge of e-learning platforms, database, content management systems and Unix or Linux administration.
A general knowledge of anti-plagiarism software is a must.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for customizing online content.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with academic staff, students, ICT teams, and administrators. Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Designing and maintaining instructional materials and e-learning systems
Manage the operation and development of online e-learning programs or computer-based virtual courses
Experience in faculty training and support for online teaching.
Skills & Competencies
Experience in faculty training and support for online teaching.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within a large, diverse academic community of users.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and maintaining instructional materials and e-learning systems
Management of Active Directory, Email system, and specifying and configuring educational technology platforms and devices
Manage the operation and development of online e-learning programs or computer-based virtual courses
