Position Overview

The University seeks to recruit two (2) highly qualified senior cook in catering services. All applications will be treated in strictest confidence. Qualifications Required

Applicants must have a 5 ‘O’ level passes including English Language and a Certificate in Professional Cookery or related field plus 3 years post qualification experience OR a National Diploma in Food and Beverage or related field plus at least 2 years post qualification experience.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities will include the following: • Preparing meals according to recipes provided by the Head Chef. • Ensuring food health and safety standards. • Storing food properly. • Re-ordering stock and food supplies. • Reporting occurrences to the Catering Supervisor/Chef. • Maintaining daily utilisation form and checklist. • Supervising Junior Staff.
