The University seeks to recruit one (1) highly qualified candidate for the position of Lecturer / Senior Lectuer / Associate Professor in Mathematics within the Department of Applied Mathematics, Faculty of Applied Sciences.All applications will be treated in strictest confidence. Qualifications Required
Applicants must have a minimum qualification of an MSc Degree in Mathematics/ Applied
Mathematics.
Skills & Competencies
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide variety of courses on the BSc
(Honours) in Applied Mathematics Programme and any two of the following courses in MSc
in Applied Mathematical Modelling; Functional Analysis, Stochastic differential equations
and Variational Calculus. Teaching experience in any of the above areas, a PhD in any of the
above fields and record of publishing are added advantages.
