Position Overview

The incumbent will be expected to teach Environmental Process Engineering-related courses as well as supervise research and development projects in the Department. While all areas of Chemical Engineering research will be considered, preference will be given to candidates whose research is in the areas of Energy/ Fuels/Minerals Processing related to renewable batteries research.

Qualifications Required

The department seeks enthusiastic, exceptional candidates for lectureship in Chemical Engineering. Applicants must have a BEng or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering, MEng or MSc in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering or be currently registered for a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering, which is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Candidates should also have proven relevant industry and lecturing experience; Professional Board Registration is highly recommended. Evidence of scholarly contribution is required in the form of at least one peer-reviewed journal article.
